Crown Distributors offices had become dated, worn, and inadequate for their current staff needs. Crown’s goals were to create an office environment that reflected the contemporary, casual style projected by many of the brands they distribute while providing an office anchor for sales and customer service managers who were increasingly working in the field. The remote work required by the 2020 pandemic only accelerated Crown’s evolution towards more remote employees.
The office area was reorganized to provide management offices, open office workstations, and “hoteling” spaces for sales managers to utilize when in office, allowing a more efficient use of space. A central feature of the remodel was a large multipurpose event space to be used for employee training, a lunchroom, company celebrations, and client hospitality events. The event room features a large bar clad in reclaimed lumber and a glazed overhead door that connects the space to a new outdoor patio.
