Capitol Federal

Home Office Building

Topeka, Kansas

First occupied in 1960, the Owner wished to renovate the building inside and out while remaining occupied and in operation. The new design provided a more efficient and flexible office and banking layout, and increased security for critical banking systems while updating the building’s appearance. The work included new building skin and glazing; interior finishes; mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems; as well as life safety, building code, and ADA compliance improvements. The multi-phased project allowed the building to remain occupied throughout the remodeling.
